Lots of preview sneak peeks are coming out about Pixar Pier, which set to open June 23rd with a secondary kickoff component to Pixar Fest -  now going strong at the Disneyland Resort!   First, Pixar Pal-A-Round is the official name for the makeover attraction replacing Mickey's Fun Wheel.  While Mickey will still be at the center of the wheel, each of the 24 Gondolas will include a different pair from Pixar films, including Joy and Sadness from “Inside Out,” Lightning McQueen and Mater from “Cars,” and Miguel and Hector from “Coco.”

More information is available on the Disney Parks Blog!

Also on Pixar Pier, the new Incredicoaster is in its final stages of preparation by Imagineers. According to the Disney Parks Blog, "The Incredicoaster will glide around Pixar Pier on steel tracks that cover a distance of almost 1-1/8 miles—the longest and fastest roller coaster at the Disneyland Resort. The attraction will feature a super combination of character figures, lighting, music and special effects, bringing all the action of “The Incredibles” to life!"

Finally, over in Downtown Disney, the Salt & Straw Ice Cream Shop is coming later in the year as part of a 2018 renovation and expansion.  Construction is expected to begin soon on the latest location for this family run company that captures the spirit of classic Americana.  According to the Disney Blog, Every ice cream flavor is handmade in small batches using the best local, organic and sustainable ingredients. Special offerings will be available seasonally, showcasing co-founder and head ice cream maker Tyler’s passion for cultivating genuine partnerships with local farmers and artisans.

There's lots of fun coming this summer for the Disneyland Resort! We can't wait to check it out!
