We had a blast at Disneyland this weekend staying on property at the Disneyland Hotel!  The lack of crowds, especially during Magic Morning hours, was fantastic after the holiday rush!  It was our first time staying club level and utilizing the E Ticket Lounge. It was a fantastic experience, with great service, views, and convenience we'd highly recommend to visiting families who have it in their budget!  The breakfast, snacks throughout the day, happy hour and best of all desserts were awesome! While we were bummed not to have fireworks (Except for Fantasy in the Sky on Throwback Thursday!)  the ability to watch them with music from the lounge is a really nice perk as well.  Plus, the Disneyland Hotel is always so much fun for the ambience, characters, pool/slides and dining! Please read all about our stay over on We Cain Travel and see photos!  We also posted lots on Disneyland Inside Out's Facebook page and Instagram @disneylandinsideout!

As far as the Resort goes, check out our page for photos of the Dumbo queue construction, Main Street construction walls, and Pixar Pier  Construction! Lots has changed since January 8! :-) They are moving along quickly with the Incredicoaster and Pixar Pier changes.  Be advised Toy Story is STILL open (though a little confusing how to get to it) though Fast Pass for Toy Story is temporarily over by The Little Mermaid ride and Grizzly River Run in San Francisco.  King Arthur's Carousel is open as well.  It looks like more construction is on the horizon, with plans for "it's a small world" mall to undergo a makeover (during the removal of the holiday overlay) and moved queue that is more conducive to traffic flow  - check out details on the Disney Parks Blog. Haunted Mansion has reopened in classic form, and its always nice to see the attraction looking clean and fresh!  Pirates will go down later this spring for refurbishment and the controversial changes to the auction scene.   Over in DCA, Vyloos have been added to the Collection of specimens at Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! Finally, Splitsville Luxury Lanes is coming along and has an official opening date of January 29th in Downtown Disney.

There's lots of action and lots to come over at the DIsneyland Resort - but in the mean time, try to visit when crowds are down a bit before Spring Break season hits in March! :-)
