Resort Update: MSEP Going Out, Everything Else Back! Downtown Disney Parking Policy Updated

Courtney

Today was a beautiful day at the Disneyland Resort! It was definitely a busier one in the afternoon, as many locals came out to see the last run of the Main Street Electrical Parade, which came back in January and ends its Disneyland run tonight.  We are very sad about the parade, but hope it finds a new home or returns in the future.   We are excited for the return of Paint the Night over at DCA, and future entertainment at Disneyland.

At Downtown Disney, the new parking policy is in full effect - no more "free" parking.  Guests can receive 2 hours free with a $20 purchase (or more) from a Downtown Disney store, or quick service dining validation.  Guests receive 4 hours validated with an AMC Movie Theater ticket purchase, or a table-service dining validation.

On the bright side, many other Disneyland classics are back - the Disneyland Railroad, Fantasmic!, and the Rivers of America attractions are all there, and it's fabulous! We'll be updating more this weekend with a live viewing of Fantasmic (finally! been a busy summer) and more photos and updates. You can see photos from today on our Facebook page.

Mickey's Soundsational Parade is still a fun summertime hit that we enjoy, and is worth seeing. The floats have been updated and look fantastic.  We'll update more next weekend with pictures of the new rooms at the Grand Californian Hotel, and reviews of more of the new additions at the Resort!
