Christmas is coming quickly, and there's still more time to visit the Disneyland Resort and enjoy the holiday decor! According to Disney Dining, some great Christmas dinner options will be on the menu for December 25th - salmon, roast turkey, ham, leg of lamb, and other tasty holiday menu items will be at both Disneyland and California Adventure. In Downtown Disney, various restaurants will be featuring special menus for both Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. Catal Restaurant, Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, and House of Blues will all have prix fix menu deals and a la carte items you can check out on their websites. Disney Dining reservations can be made by emailing email@example.com :-)
Over at MousePlanet in their weekly update, there is great info about Annual Passholder Early Entry planned at both parks during the winter "off-season" of early 2013. Early Entry for AP Holders will be available at DCA on Saturdays and Disneyland on Sundays every weekend from Jan 5 - April 14, with the exception of January 19, 20 and February 3. Disney is continuing to cater to their AP Holders with promotions, and Early Entry during the summer worked well, so it will be fun to see how this turns out!
If you're a Mardi Gras fan, you may remember last year Disneyland put on special shows in New Orleans Square. According to MP, those shows will be returning this year over the weekends from mid Jan- mid February. The celebrations include Princess Tiana, the Jambalaya Jazz Band, Mardi Gras processions, and character meet and greets. Check out Mouse Planet for more details.
