So I got Halloween party tickets for the family to celebrate my sons birthday on 9/27. I'm wanting to book a room that night at one of the resorts. Any tips or pointers? Where should we stay Grand California or Disney resort? Idk what to do. I'm getting so excited and anxious!! HELP

Is there going to be trick or treating at California adventure too??
I think it's just trick or treating in Disneyland. The Grand is fancier but of course more expensive. Disney Hotel captures the magic of Disney and was the original! Both have easy access to the parks. I guess it depends on your budget! I imagine a kid would enjoy the DH but not sure as this will be my first stay. Both have character dining if you want to do that before the party!

We are staying at DLH the same week . You can hop the monorail to and from the park. It's so Walt-ish there, whimsical. Either place is magical, but DLH is a bit cheaper.
