When to Visit
Since this is the on of the first attractions people see when the enter the park and turn left they tend to go right on it. If you are one of the first people to head this direction I would say that is a good time to go. There are also many people who don't want to wait in line for Indy so they hop out of line and join the line for the Jungle Cruise. One of the best times to ride is in the evening during Fantasmic! and the fireworks since there is sometimes no line at all. This is also a good time because you get to see the jungle all lit up and some of your skippers jokes are a little better.
Age Group
This ride is good for any age group. Young kids will love to see all the animals, and teens and adults will love to hate the skippers corny jokes, which at times are quite humorous.
Special Considerations
If you have trouble moving about it may be difficult to get onto this attraction because you have to step down into the boats.
Location
In the middle of Adventureland in the large jungle outpost building.
Description
The Jungle Cruise is a 1930's tour through the jungle via a defunct shipping companies rickety old boats. The workers, now skippers have organized these tours to make it through the depression and now you're one to be taken… on a boat ride that is. Guests have a chance to see lions, tigers, snakes, elephants, attacking natives, the backside of water, and rocks taken for granite. For adults the best part of the ride are some of the jokes told by the skipper, which at some points are so corny and obvious you'll positively get a charge out of them, at least those sitting near the batteries. Each skipper tells their own variation of the jokes so if you visit this attraction more than once you'll probably get a completely different show.

Highly suggest riding this rude at night. This ride was stale and boring until I rode it at night. Funner jokes and a little scary when it's pitch black dark. Must ride!

Little known fact: Walt used to come out before the park opened for the day and act as skipper on the Jungle Cruise boats, but he never did it for an audience because he had a strict rule against facial hair for cast members and he loved his mustache too much to cut it!

Always funny and well worth waiting when there is a wait. Definitely more exciting at night, but you probably shouldn't take kids then!
Cute Little Ol' Attraction on 2/26/2011
This hand-crafted attraction was the first adventure of many to come to Disneyland and it still holds much appeal to those who can loose themselves in the jungle... just remember to listen your skipper (it's hard not to), they make the ride.

Every season of this ride is so much fun! I love that the cast members seem to love their jobs. It makes the ride so great.
